The device consists of two independent units: 1. destemming, 2. grinding.
The destemming assembly consists of a metal basket with holes inside which a beater rotates. Both elementsare made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The speeds of the beater and basket can be adjusted using an inverter.
The shredding unit consists of two rubber rollers. Each roll is made of one piece of rubberto facilitate hygiene and cleaning. The distance between the rollers is adjustable. This avoids crushing the seeds and ensures the correct degree of fragmentation and crushing of the berries.
New Open Grape crushing rolls are available as an alternative solution to traditional crushing rolls, coated with:food grade gum with a cylindrical shape designed to allow the berries to open completely.
