Pulp heater. The tubular heat exchanger is a device built on the principle of a “pipe in a pipe” type heat exchanger. The heating medium (hot water) is prepared using a gas or fuel oil-fired boiler. The heating medium is circulated by a rotary pump into the outer pipe of the exchanger. The product flows in counterflow in the inner pipe of the exchanger module and is heated by hot water to the set temperature. After the water gives off its heat, it flows back to the rotary pump and is heated again.
