Candle filter housing made of AISI 316 stainless steel. The filter can be stationary or mobile. Available housings for filter candles (cartridges):
Filters can also be connected in series, e.g. 1 + 1. For example: in the first housing we place a filter for pre-filtration, in the second for sterile filtration.
The filter housing is equipped with a flow sight glass, pressure gauge, valves for removing air. Connectors depending on the size of the housing.
Optional equipment:
- bypass
- wheeled platform
Candle filters are used to purify both gases (air, nitrogen, steam and others) and liquids. Due to their high efficiency and wide availability, they are very popular in the broadly understood food and pharmaceutical industries. Candle filters consist of a filter housing and replaceable cartridges. The mechanism of operation most often consists in the flow of liquid or gas from the outside to the inside of the filter candle, and the impurities caught by the filter settle on its outer surface. Due to the number of cartridges mounted in the filter, single-candle and multi-candle filters are distinguished. Candle cartridges are a replaceable element, otherwise known as cartridge filters, cartridge filters, absolute filters, nominal filters, polypropylene cartridges, polypropylene filters, candle cartridges, depth cartridges.
